I had a screening call with HR for a position that fits me 100%. Its almost as if the ad was written for me. Screening call went great and wednesday last week I had a call with the hiring manager. That went great as well. I said the right things, I knew the topic and me and the hiring manager felt very aligned. Time flew by and she had to run and said something about me needing to talk to another person on the team but didnt say anything detailed due to being rushed.

The day after I viewed the other team members linkedin and that person must have seen that and wrote me 1 minute later “Are you the person that gonna help us with XYZ?” and a big smile emoji. When I said I hope so the person wrote “You have exactly the background we need”. Which of course made me happy. I wrote back that it would be great if we could talk and the person told me “sure, let me check when I am available and I get back to you shortly”.

That was last thursday. Since then I have heard nothing. Nothing from HR, hiring manager or the linkedin person. The person havent even read my last reply to her saying she get back to me shortly message. I find that wierd.

Only been 3 working days between from my hiring manager call and today so not a very long time but something feels off. Or is it only me?
