I desperately need some help. My cat keeps biting my feeding tubes. I’ve more or less solved the issue with the tubes that go to my stomach and small intestine by covering the bag and tubes with fabric every time. However, I recently started getting TPN (IV Nutrition) and saline infusions through a PICC Line. Those tubes, she is obsessed with biting (especially the TPN). It would be awful if she bit through it one of these days because that’s a HUGE infection risk.

I don’t want to start spraying her with a water bottle like everyone around me is telling me to because I know that will just make her afraid of me, not the tube. I also don’t want to cover that tube with fabric as well because it will add so much weight to pull on my PICC line. I’ve tried the bitter spray on power cords in the past and it never deterred her. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I might be able to do to get her to stop attacking my tubes?
