Looking for some advice.

I had an interview two weeks ago Monday. I thought it went really well. The hiring manager (with whom I spoke) said leave it with him and he will try and get back to me within the week (he was going to new York that week to meet with clients). He said don’t be afraid to reach out to him for updates.

I emailed him that Friday, and heard nothing the following week. It is now 10 days since I emailed him. I’m wondering if I should email again? Maybe he was super busy and I got put to the bottom of the pile? Or is it just dead and I shouldn’t bother. Would there be any negatives to emailing again?
