We let both our cats sleep in the bed and i would never want to shut them out of the room. They would probably scratch at the door if we tried to anyway.

I cuddle with one of them (my soul cat) a lot but lately it seems like she’s intentionally waking me up in the middle of the night to cuddle and doesn’t understand that i need to sleep 😭 It’s very hard for me to fall back asleep once she does this. I’m talking 3-4am most nights.

I know it’s intentional because she walks up right next to my head and meows in my face lol. And then tries to climb onto me. If I’m laying on my side instead of on my back she will often complain too.

Any advice for how to prevent this that isn’t shutting her out of the room? Could she just be under stimulated?
