my cat ate my pajama draw string! im pretty sure he ate the entire thing :/ it was hanging out of his hind end about 4 inches of it. i took him to the vet Friday and they X-rayed him and said it wasn’t in his small intestine and that it seemed to be all in his colon. since Friday he has pooped 2X that I know of. solid normal poop. he is eating, drinking, and still playing. still hasn’t pooped out any string. vet told me to cut it as he pushes it out but i still haven’t seen anything. his belly feels a little firm. he’s not lethargic or vomiting either. I have been feeding him wet food with pumpkin broth, pumpkin toppers to help him poop. should I take him to the ER? I also wonder if his stomach acid will help break down the string? thanks for reading
