My family lost our cat last night and I’ve been posting everywhere for him. So far I’ve received:

- two fake messages about someone finding him

- a fake message for a pet search and rescue which was 100% a scam

- the worst one. A phone from someone claiming they found him. I of course was happy and said “you found him?!” Only to be replied with “fuck no” laughing and hung up on.

It hurt. It really hurt I just want my cat and every single time it’s someone just using me. I’m still looking for him.
