I had an in person interview, crushed it and they emailed me the background check information to fill out. on this information I lied about employment history saying I worked at this pizza spot that’s a small business, BUT the number I put down is the manager there, he said he will lie for me if they call and ask. its just for a busser position. The other reference will fully work and is legit. I have no legally surprises that will come up. today they sent me an official offer letter that I signed and accepted, they said the background check will be done in 24 hours. what do you think, im scared that they aer gonna have a list or something of all the employment I have gone to. im nervous and really want the job but they wouldn’t have even given me the time of day for the interview if I didn’t lie about work experience.
