Hi there, my older cat roughly 5-6 years old has had a higher pitch meow the past few days (orange in picture). He seems fine besides that, no other changes in mood or behavior from what I can tell. We did add another cat to the family about 2 months ago, which the new cat is younger and has a higher pitched meow, so I’m wondering do cats mimic each other? Or should I look into a possible illness route? My next available vet appt isn’t until another 2 weeks or so. Thanks!
