As you all know, the cost of living is increasing everyday and not our incomes, so we’re all trying to find ways to save money so we can continue to serve our feline overlords (see image for mine). With that being said, as a poor graduate student, I’m moving into a 2 bedroom apartment with a friend/future roommate to save money (it’s going to be MUCH cheaper, and with luxury amenities too!). Fortunately, my future roommate doesn’t have pets of her own so I don’t need to introduce them to other animals, but the cats tend to be shy around strangers. My boy cat (blue harness) is much more social with strangers so I’m not concerned about him, but my girl cat (pink harness) is very timid around everyone except me. I’m a bit concerned she’ll hide too much and never get too comfortable. Does anyone have any tips/tricks/advice on introducing my cats to my future roommate?
