Got a call from a agency and trying to figure out if this is normal I got a cold call from a recruitment company out of NJ. They said: no upfront fee, no obligation to stay, only pay 15% of your first year salary if they actually place you, and they offer payment plans so it’s spread out over time. They also said they optimize your profile before applying anywhere and send out a high volume of applications daily. I’m 5 months into my job search so I’m open to it, but 15% sounds like a lot. Is this a normal model or should I be skeptical?
