So my kittens are about 8 weeks old and I’m teaching them how to use her mom’s litter box but found it difficult as i noticed they eat the litter. Obviously i stopped them before they ate any more but what’s a good litter to use and how do i stop them from eating the litter? I don’t usually keep one inside at all time due to the fact that their mom is potty trained and goes outside whenever she needs too and I’m currently using puppy pads as they seem to do well on them but obviously the cover the pads up (moving them) and sometimes like to tear them up and from when I first had my cat she cleaning litter was so much easier compared to now using the puppy pads.
