I’ve had a ton of negative interactions with Robert Half. Reaching out for specific job postings via email that I did not apply for, just to have them not respond? It got me thinking. Do you feel sympathy at all for recruiters when you see their open to work banner?
Recruiters don’t have some special insight. They’re in a job where people come to them. Prior to the internet age MAYBE they had to hunt down some qualified folks. Now a days they’re slapping a posting online, looking at a few apps that the computer screens for them and ghosting everyone else. Every recruiter on here posting stupid ass tips that any person who can fog a mirror can also tell you is nothing more than a gatekeeper.
