I’m not entirely opposed to PC becoming an Android-like platform but I think PC gamers should demand more in return from Valve. Other companies that are in the business of taking 30% cut on game sales give much more in return - things like hardware subsidies or being able to resell your physical copies of games. Valve paying salaries of a couple of Linux devs sounds like getting goodwill for tax evasion by doing charity PR stunts.
Yes i remember when valve took 30% from me…
Give it a rest holy Jesus. If this is the most important thing in your life, I don’t even know what to say.
I
ownlicense ~800 games on Steam, of course I care.Them you should know the things you’re complaining about is ridiculous.

Other than the entire steam platform, including free forums, chat, and all the trading bs, i dont know what you want from a free platform.
And agian, the 30% is a dead horse and just makes you look like you have no idea what you’re talking about.
It’s not free, it takes 30% cut on every transaction. That’s yachtloads of money.

I wish I had this simple worldview sometimes.
More important things in life than a video game platform, kiddo
Good bye.
