so my cat (will be 3 in October) is v affectionate and I’ve never experienced an issue like this before. She will come over to be petted and is quite insistent on this and will cuddle up to me and push my phone away to get attention - all very adorable. But occasionally she will then bite my hand or my arm (not hard but enough for me to be taken aback).

I’ve had cats before and this doesn’t seem to function as a warning that she’s overstimulated/wants to stop bcos she will stay and want to be petted more. She’s only just started doing this the past month or so for some reason.

I’m wondering what I can do to stop this habit before it becomes the norm for her? or if anyone knows why she might be doing this?
