I unfortunately dont have a video of it happening. I recently got a kitten shes about 10-13 weeks old we arnt sure. But shes little. And we have another cat he is an adult now a little over 1 year old now. Weve been slowly introducing and finally got to a point where they show curiosity in eachother without hissing, or showing teeth and claws.

We felt it was time to let them see eachother an explore a shared space like living room. There is no hissing, no fur flying, no cries of desperation to get away, no blood, nothing like that.

But my boy he is chasing her wherever she goes and kind pouncing on her but not hunting her and making little chirp sounds. She hasent really been chasing him and is more curious about exploring. She has done some exploring on her own as well to get her scent around so he can smell her presence and we did all the proper waiting and slow introductions and all the recommended stuff.

But she, when he pounces her, her ears go back and she goes on her side and puts her paws up (no claws) and im unsure if this is him play fighting with her to show her whos boss, I cant tell if hes blocking her from going places over territory. Or if they are just stright up playing.

Right jow I habe them seperated again this time shes in the bedroom with me and hes got rhe rest of the house to be at. I just wanna make sure this is normal behavior or if there is somthing more I need to do before they can really interact with eachother.

Id like to reiterate, there is no claws, bighting or fur flying when this happens its been strictly gentle (as gental as a bigg heavy older male cat can be) interation.
