Today we said goodbye to Beans. Her battle with IMHA was short - exactly two weeks since I picked her up from emergency treatment. She declined daily from there. But that was only two weeks of her life
She was a screechy, sassy, happy, cuddly girl. She slept at my feet, screamed if I was a minute late for dinner, and was my constant office companion. She loved her cat tree, was greedy for Churus, and disliked everyone but me. I got her just over 7 years ago when my husband went to rehab and I wanted a companion.
My husband came with me to the shelter, and Beans picked him out. We left with her and her brother. She bonded to me immediately. An expert biscuit maker, professional rage-baiter to her brother, and and a snuggly little babydoll. I’ll miss you forever Beans.
