This stuff keeps showing up on my cats fountain! It had a ton of it when I washed it less than a week ago… ill be honest I let it go longer without a wash than I meant to because I had just moved and was stressed fo using on everything else. But its only been 4 days since I washed it…I normally wash it every 7 days but what?! I take it completely apart and I wash every single piece every nook and cranny and change the filters (i do this every single time and especially the last time)…has anyone seen this?! I just went from well water to city water if that could be the cause…
