•	Recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn beginning of March

•	Did a screening call a few days later

•	One week later: first round with the hiring team

•	One week later: second round with the adjacent executive team

•	Assigned a marketing brief – spent 4-6 hours building it out, due the following week

•	Presented the brief to both teams I had interviewed with

What Happened After

•	The recruiter had been responding within 1-3 hours throughout the entire process

•	Now 3 business days of complete radio silence

•	Checked the company website – the job was reposted the day after my presentation

Where I’m At

•	6+ weeks of communicating, interviews, emails, and free work

•	The role was already a 25% pay cut from my last job – not a dream job, but it would have paid the bills

•	Going on month 6 of unemployment

I just don’t get these companies. The recruiter was so responsive the whole time and now nothing. Feels awful.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
