Last week, I received an email to schedule a screening call for a job with United Utility Power Services. I had applied for the job the day before. I responded within two hours. She didn’t respond. I followed up the next morning and she replied with a confirmed meeting time the next day. Well that day came and went. I emailed her 10 mins after our scheduled time to see if she were running late. No response. That was Friday. Yesterday, I reached out once more to see if we needed to reschedule. No response. Worst part is, I was tracking all the emails with a gmail extension so I can see that my last two emails weren’t even read. Oof!

Since then, I’ve dug my heels in and applied to 46 more positions, but I was honestly really looking forward to that role.
