So, I saw this post for a Mid Sized company looking for a summer student for their AI Automation related project on LinkedIn, I DM’ed the VP of the company about my interest and she replied after 2 weeks asking for my resume. I later received an email from HR asking for a phone screen and then they sent me an assessment to complete. The next day I received an interview.

I interviewed with the VP and I think I did well, after like an hour HR emailed me to ask for Transcript and 2 References which I provided. 2 days after that HR emails me again to ask my references to respond. My references responded and then the final HR email was that she has forwarded the responses to the VP and we will get back to you. Thanks for your patience.

It has been a week since the last email.

In the interview I was informed that they will most likely get back to me in a week.
