I am so fucking tired of getting completely ghosted after an interview. I’ve had a few interviews in the last couple months and never get any feedback. I always follow up after a recruiter call or interview and get no response. Not even the recruiter telling me their moving on with other candidates. Sometimes I’ll get an automated email from the company that they’ve “moved on with other candidates”, but that will be weeks after the manager interview.

Why is it so hard to send a message back?? My follow-ups aren’t a long email, just a couple sentences ending with “I look forward to hearing from you”. And if no one responds after a week, I email again asking for an update. Zero response.

The thing that really annoys me is that the manager will sound positive in the interview! They’ll even discuss how the next interviews will be held and what the timing will be like. Sometimes they’ll say “We’ll talk again soon!” Why lie??? I hate this job market.

Been applying to remote only jobs that require a master’s degree or some other form of higher education, which I am qualified for.
