I randomly felt a thick/rough spot on my cat’s neck while petting him and realized it was kind of a bald spot too after lifting the hair around it.

He barely goes outside and I don’t have any other cats that could’ve bit him or smth.

Should I apply anything on it ? Im not sure if I should go to the vet since they’re not that great with cats in my region and I don’t think he’ll be able to actually help.
