i got caught using ai on an essay in an english class my freshman year on undergrad, and i got in trouble, its on my disciplinary record but not on my transcript. im trying to get a job in finance/tech from a target t10 school. will this effect my chances of getting a job/internship? how often do employers check for this? i will never do it again, but im about to go into my sophmore year trying to get internships, and am worried about it effecting me now or in the future after graduation.
