Okay so this is a fun one…
A cat that I used to feed is stuck on my neighbor’s roof, and the neighbor just moved away. She is very skiddish, and she seemed to have moved up there since she felt safe, and he was just feeding her up there, which I guess worked.
The problem is, he just moved away, and she’s still up there. And it’s unclear to me whether she can get down on her own, since it’s been two days and she’s still up there.
(For context, I don’t think anyone is moving in anytime soon, so the house will probably remain empty.)
I’ve been putting food down to try and tempt her, but I’m unsure if she is even able to come get it.
That said, she’s starting to look a little desperate and I’m feeling like it may be time to intervene.
Currently, it seems like my two options are to put something big in the yard for her to jump onto, or to put a trap on the roof, and take her down that way.
So with all that in mind, good cat friends of Reddit, I was wondering:
A) I’m not being crazy, right? She might actually be stuck, and require my help?
B) If that’s the case then does anyone have a better solution than a trampoline or putting a trap on the roof.
Thanks everyone.
