I wanted to get some perspective on my situation.

Last week Tuesday, I received a call from HR confirming a verbal offer and was asked to submit my documents. I shared everything the same day. After that, the HR went on leave.

I followed up this Monday, and he mentioned that the offer is currently in the approval stage with the Managing Partner. Today is Wednesday, and I haven’t heard back yet. For additional context, I’ve been told that I received strong feedback across all interview rounds.

Given this situation:

1. What are the chances that the written offer will come through?

2. Is this delay normal at the approval stage?

3. By when should I realistically expect the offer letter?

Would really appreciate insights from anyone who has been in a similar situation, especially in consulting firms.
