Hi,

I had my cats for 3 years now and I am only starting to get them to stay a few seconds longer in my arms before they rip their way out of me.

I have been slowly and increasingly adding carrying them as a part of their petting routine, but while my tabi is starting to accept it, my calico still completely despise being ever so slightly lifted, she will scream her life out and claw her way out.

I tried to accomodate her by giving her treats while lifting her lightly but once treats are out she goes back to nope.

Was anyone here able to go from a cat that hates being carried to loving it ?
