What is the source for this? Where is he saying this? It looks like an interview, maybe a podcast but it lacks context.
The image “proof” shows him saying he thinks the Chinese have created a pretty impressive system.
But he could have just as easily followed that up with “but obviously they’re being held back by communism and I question the stability of it in relation to the west and they’re going to implode when they invade Taiwan lol so liberalism is still destined to win this century”. So it could very much be an example of him saying “this is a mighty impressive turd”.
So I’d appreciate a source because I fear you’re reading into this more than is warranted and leaving people with a false impression. And if there is a source it would be a nice thing to bookmark.

It is like believing the Earth is flat because you can’t see the curvature or that continents are fixed because you can’t see them moving.
Some times decades pass with nothing happening and sometimes a lot happens in weeks. At least he lived to recognize his mistake and had the integrity to admit it.
