The middle east’s only democracy. Where they kidnap you in international waters and brutalize you for daring to bring food to starving people.

Abukeshek and Ávila have not yet been charged, but the human rights organization Adalah told Al Jazeera that the two are accused of “being members of a terrorist organization” and “having contact with foreign agents.” The human rights organization calls the legal proceedings illegal. According to them, there is no legal basis for convicting foreign nationals for acts or offenses that took place in international waters.

    Abuse
Adalah also reports that Abukeshek and Ávila are being mistreated by Israel. Among other things, they were reportedly blindfolded and held in solitary confinement; Ávila was allegedly beaten so severely on two occasions that he lost consciousness.

The Dutchman Osman had previously stated that he was also mistreated when the Israeli army boarded the ships on Thursday. He sustained bruised ribs and injuries to his nose during that incident.

Can people in the USA make trump sanction israel by mass strikes that bring the economy to a standstill? Europe can’t arrest Netanyahu cause America is their dog, but in the end the people create profit for business so… when are y’all mass striking? aka just sitting at home and organizing strike funds for those in need?

We’re kind of dealing with some stuff…

Largest prison population. Largest homeless population(1st world.)
Lack of affordable healthcare. Domestic terrorism from mass shooters to ICE…
Other affordability issues. Media ran by 4 oligarchs. Which don’t cover our mass protests, which millions of us are turning out for.

Israel? Gaza? Iran? Hate to say it but kind of the bottom of the list. Even worse… Americans are quite islamophobic. There’s quite a bit of sentiment that literally boils down to: bomb them (not Israel) back to the stone age or simply straight to hell.

Europe could totally arrest Bibi. We the people (especially under 50s) don’t really care about Israel(or bottom of list). There’s nothing USA could really do besides sanctions…? China is refusing to recognize US sanctions, which seems like a good precedent.

And really the only way to get Trump to do anything is to bribe him and kiss his ass so I really don’t see that happening.

yeah so true… You already did mass protest, but not mass strikes tho… Your government just blatanly refuses to listen to you and you have a dumb enough president who thinks force is more important than diplomacy, but if yall wanna change something in gaza and israel then force trumps hand by mass strikes, aka cut their profits to make them listen… Also I keep forgetting politics in America is like far away for some people, like Brussels for Europeans etc. but yeah only americans can force trump and force netanyahu, even tho netanyahu doesnt even listen to trump sometimes, and even in israel itself the people are mass indoctrinated and manipulated, so they don’t protest or vote normal idk anymore man even tho israel and palestina all look more alike then they know themselves and could accomplish so much if they would embrace eachother tbh smh stupid religions

I really don’t see how anything regular Americans do is going to change what’s going on in Israel…

I would think it would be much more effective for the Israeli people to assemble and petition their government. Which many do, as far as I know, and it seems ineffective so far. Bibi is despised there. Many want him tried for war crimes. While Trump wants him pardoned.

All war is class for him. Keep fighting. Don’t give up.

People don’t care enough about it for multiple reasons, one of them is that governments have a tight grip on public information and aren’t letting too much coverage from gaza on the news

they’re also limiting coverage of what people are doing in the face of all this to create the impression that everyone is okay with this
