I think it’s plausible but I would like to hear it from Jon or another named source. When AppleTV+ was launching an anonymous source spread the rumor that Apple was dictating that all programming had to be G rated, which turned out not to be true.

This is good, apple a US company shouldn’t be working to silence for the CCP.

On that note we need to also look into Tencnet and all the media/ gaming companies its currently influencing.

Pretending like you’re the victim again. Nobody even knew that Jon Stewart had a new show. Heck i watched him for a long time when he was on Comedy Central. Does everything have to be China or Russia’s fault? In my experience, Americans are shitty already you don’t need any propaganda for that

Can somebody please tell Comedy Central to just pay this man to come back and get rid of the boring ass drones that replaced him?

Of course it was and politicians completely understand why. In business, like in politics, you “dance with the one who brung ya.”

Who do politicians support special interest? It’s because special interest dumps money into their campaigns and expects something in return, otherwise they back your opponent.

China is essential to Apple’s supply chain and is worth billions to the company. Jon’s show is a loss leader for Apple TV+ or whatever it’s called. If Jon wants to criticize China, it makes complete business sense for Apple to tell him to do it elsewhere.

That’s the big factor. The second factor is that nobody gives a shit about Jon Stewart and nobody watched his new show, this isn’t 1999.

I definitely want my representatives looking into this. The homeless, inflation and cost of living can wait.

As an Apple fan and shareholder, GOOD. Apple is already diversifying their supply chain away from genocidal China - but this cannot come fast enough.

This was a stain on their reputation and should be embarrassing to any Apple fan.

I haven’t watched it. Was this just Stewart going against genocidal China, or something deeper?

Did these lawmakers write a letter to every other studio? No one knows for sure what happened here, but we do know other studios edit films to appease Dictators with tiny penis.
