According to most voices on the Steam forums, this beta branch update dramatically decreases the game’s loading times, in some cases from over 7 minutes to under a minute.

      CS2 doesnt use steam workshop.

it uses paradox mods. Which means you have to make a paradox account… Which makes me super suspicious, why spend all that time developing a mod platform, and the cost of bandwidth and server capacity to host and serve them, unless you are getting something back from forcing everyone to have accounts to log into… compared to the free convenience of just using steams workshop.

          I don’t blame you.

I pretty much regret buying it… not being able to play it for a year after buying it due to horrific performance issues, plethora of gameplay bugs and issues once I was able to play that have tanked more than one city, paradox mods just being more clunky and less polished than workshop support that CS1 had, plus having to have an external account for it…

I am not sure what issue you have been having, but mod support is alive and well and has been for months.

It’s mentioned on the steam announcement. Something to do with translation strings, causing a full reinitialization of all installed mods.

I’m not sure, but since the new studio took over from Colossal Order, a lot of long-standing bugs and little mistakes have been fixed.
