Comrades, I’m reaching out because I am in a terrifying medical emergency and urgently need the community's solidarity. I have developed a severe tooth abscess, and I need emergency oral surgery to have it treated. The situation is critical. A tooth abscess isn't just extreme pain—it is an active, spreading infection.
If I do not get a surgery immediately, the infection can spread to my jaw, my bloodstream (causing sepsis), or my brain, which is fatal. My life is quite literally on the line, but because dental care is treated as a luxury under capitalism rather than a basic human right, I am being paywalled out of the medical intervention that will save me.The total cost for the emergency extraction, anesthesia, and surgical treatment of the infection is $3,000. I do not have the funds to cover this, and time is entirely working against me.If you have anything to spare, it would mean the world to me and could genuinely save my life. If you can't contribute financially right now, sharing this post, commenting to boost visibility, or just sending solidarity my way is deeply, deeply appreciated.Donation links:CashApp: $BaileyteeDeePayPal: @KeralaDee95Thank you for reading, and thank you for always keeping us safe when the system abandons us. 3k for an extraction sounds a bit pricey, even under emergent conditions that require sedation. Be sure to shop around if you haven’t done so already. If you have a medical/dental school attached to a university near by, try scheduling an appointment for an evaluation. Most universities will give free/ subsidized rates for operations because the students need patients for practical experience. They usually also have financial aid departments that you can apply too to cover some or all of the cost.
