I grew up in the area and I always loved visiting these falls as a kid. A quick hike off the road to the falls and then spending time at Fawn’s Leap down the road was a great way to spend the day in an area abounding in natural beauty.

My husband and I just spent a few days there and had a great time! It’s really hard to get to Fawn’s Leap now, we were only able to view it from the road.

Yeah I heard that the city cracked down in recent years on people going there after an accident, but it’s been at least 15 years since I’ve lived in the area. That’s a shame because the view from the road doesn’t do the falls justice

Yes, every pull off is very clearly marked that there is no parking. They’ve made some trolley only. There is a parking lot about a mile down the road and the only way to get there is by walking up the road… Where people are driving. Perhaps there is a hike in the woods, but it was so busy on a Tuesday that we didn’t even try.
