    I wish I could go back in time and tell every single native American agricultural scientist who made potatoes and corn and stuff so great as foods how great their work is and how many people it all feeds today and how much people love their food. Just show them that meme about “if you are ever having a bad day just remember all the different ways you can cook potatoes”. The ways we turn corn into candy and fuel. I love ancient humans

      tbf, ten-thousand years, singular. And probably less than that, considering the time it would have taken for the first migrants to the Americas to actually populate the continent.

      They were working at breakneck speed on that corn!
