    Since the article doesn’t mention it, the obvious reason is the energy crisis changing the conditions for negotiation. Supply disruptions will strangle Europe in the coming weeks, putting immense pressure on their coalition to make territorial concessions.

      Zelensky isn’t strong or weak, he’s just playing the role he’s been given and has been generously compensated for. But changing Zelensky would definitely indicate a changing geopolitical landscape and an American/Western course change.
