At the ER with my wife. This is not an unusual event for either of us unfortunately. The good news is we have American healthcare so we get to pay to wait in our long line. And I have been up all night. yay.

This post is for casual conversation if you don’t feel like making a post of your own.

Well. Last night the cat found a very old glue trap and shoved her paw in it. Husband freaks out because the cat is crying. Twin is awake and hears him shouting. Twin grabs cat and husband comes and opens the bedroom and yell to get up and there’s an emergency.

I get up, see the emergency of my twin holding a now calm cat. The glue is old. I open the trap and gently pull it off her paw. She whines but it’s fine, no skin came off or anything. Bring her into the bedroom with me and keep an eye on her. We eventually go to bed and she goes back out and seems fine. She’s hiding under the love seat right now but was playing at some point last night, her toys are moved.

    I’m tired. It’s hot outside.

I have given her treats. She gobbled up the treats. She is happy. Her paw feels fine, which is to say she’s grabbing my hand with both paws to bite it, so seems everything is okay.

i finally got a job! nine months it took me. i made an unemployment baby. and with all the union salary insurance, starting this job lowered my take-home amount by €350 a month. but at least i can help do something.
