Charges pretty recently got filed regarding Minneapolis daycare fraud, if that’s what you’re referring to.
I’d like to see more evidence than ICE’s word, but according to them, they’ve identified various forms of fraud through different uses of the OPT program.
The DOJ bringing charges is not evidence. These are Trump’s mouthpieces making big statements, and notably have provided zero or next to zero evidence.
Trump hates the student visa program, and now he’s found “fraud” in the very program he already wanted to shut down.
If you don’t trust any federal investigations, no story regarding fraud will be credible in your eyes unless prosecuted at the local level, which is unlikely.
It will be credible the moment I see some evidence, and not a statement from the DOJ or ICE alleging “fraud” and that’s the entire source. Because I’ve seen them lie too many times to trust them now.
