I turned it on thinking this could benefit me - then it complained in the morning when I just woke up and was still in bed. So I turned it off.

I have this turned on by choice to help me keep my phone a better distance away from my face. BUT I am also near sighted so at night lying in bed I get this warning every 2-3 minutes. VERY ANNOYING. Like can I get a setting where I can set this to a certain time like the day when my glasses are on my face and off at night when I just want to browse reddit in bed. By the way typing this message earned me two more visits from the warning about being too close to my face.

You have to enable it… it’s disabled by default… It’s Settings > Screen Time > Screen Distance. Or else hold the phone further away from your face and protect your eye sight 🤷🏻‍♂️

I hated this. It’s like Apple wants you holding your phone and arms length away as if you’re a grandma trying to read a Christmas card

Androids don’t have that. Get an Android to get rid of that message forever :)

Who tf holds their phone out at arms length other than middle aged parents who also tilt their head up 20° with bifocals on?
