You legitimately posted something that says Fabianski is the best premier league keeper ever

Just think about that for a second and then delete this post

Not to be that guy, but why is it V.V. Dijk and K. De Bruyne? “Van” and “De” are both prefixes in Dutch

The streets remember the Otamendi-Mustafi partnership at Valencia under NES. Best CB pairing in La Liga

Tbf though I don’t think this is the best reference for who the best players actually were, especially for CBs, since certain stats can really boost a player’s rating. For Otamendi in that City side he was the most active/aggressive defender who was also at the center of recycling possession, which led to him leading the team for recovering possession, and I’m pretty sure leading the league for passes completed. Remembering back to that season though, no one really talked about him being one of the best in the world, because although he performed his role incredibly well, it mostly came down to the team and system around him.

Maybe a little controversial but I think this shows that these ratings aren’t as reliable for defenders.

Fuchs is the only one who won the league in that season (although Trent and Liverpool were as excellent as most winners in 21/22).

I don’t think anyone would have said that Otamendi or Fabianski had the greatest season of any defender or goalkeeper in the last 10 years and most would pick one of Van Dijk’s Liverpool seasons rather than his Southampton one.

I also expected van Dijk, but as Liverpool defender. His time at Southampton is often overlooked tho

Suarez was a madman. That too with that liverpool side. Greatest striker since thierry in my book.

Kante not being there makes no sense. Gerrard last season at Liverpool was 14/15. He shouldn’t even be included on the last decade list.
