I could see them hitting that price but doing it like they do MacBooks. Maybe offering the base 2022 version for that much, then the new one at 150 with the updated chip for more gaming power and ray tracing, and the 170 model with Ethernet and thread and more storage.
I honestly think the Apple TV would just do better if it only cost $99.
