Context From Original OP:
As Lim Hyeong-su was about to take and drink the poison, he looked at the clerk of the Uigeumbu (State Tribunal), smiled, and asked,
“Would you also care for a cup?”
When someone suggested that it would be better to go inside the house to pass away, Lim Hyeong-su replied,
“I shall rightly die out here under the open sky, where the deities of heaven and earth surround and look upon me clearly. Why should I go to a dark and gloomy place to die?”
Thereupon, he drank the poison and died, and all who heard of it were filled with sorrow.
