    There was definitely a card warranted there, it was just the wrong color and shown to the wrong fucking person! There’s no excuse for how bad that call was.

    When Joelinton turned back towards him against the momentum of his body in the close up slo-mo, I was thinking “Oh yea, you can see he’s pissed and is about to pop him with a hand/forearm/elbow in the chops”…and then nothing. De Paul is a clown. You can see what the ref thought he saw (I guess), but the VAR must be on a lunch break or something.

    honestly, de paul should be thankful he didn’t injure joelintons shoulder right there… can’t think of a sport where an armbar like that is considered a natural motion.

    De Paul should get a red card for that arm grab.

    You can see why the ref gave the red, in motion it looks like he smashes him in the face but the replay shows it was actually a really restrained attempt to get the fucker locking his arm in place off him.
