    Nigeria is such an interesting one! On paper there’s so much talent there and historically it’s a country that’s produced so many good players.

    Just for whatever reason, internationally they struggle to glue together.

    a wc with italy and germany in the second seeding pot would be something else for the group stages

    Sweden fell off of a cliff.

    Switzerland is on their way to join them. They’ve lost points in 5 of their last 6 games. And the one they won was against Andorra (+1).

    Looking at these rankings makes me think we should expand the world cup to 64 teams and make it knockout stages from the get go, but it is two legged affairs until the semifinals where its one game

    so then the finalists only play 3 more games. It’s better for everyone I think.

    England surely should be higher than Spain and Portugal since they’ve performed better than both in International tournaments over the last few years?
