$500 for a 27in? No thanks. 240hz is cool and all, but I doubt anyone but the most up-their-own-ass-lying snob can see anything above 165hz.

And thats ignoring the fact that you,d need some serious hardware just to push up to 165fps to begin with, let alone 240. Which most people arent doing. So spending that much extra for a framerate your CPU/GPU cant make frames for is the definition of a waste.

27in at 165hz should cost $180, max. Spend that other $320 towards a GPU that might actually push 165 frames…
