If neither of the Kennedy’s were assassinated, they could have possibly been president back to back, which means that Johnson, Nixon, Ford, and probably Carter would never have been president. That would greatly reduce the chance of Reagan ever becoming president, especially if Iran doesn’t have the political upheaval that it experienced in the late 70’s. Also Kennedy would have not escalated the Vietnam war. There are many things that would probably be better on many levels.

Ignorant Dane here, but wasn’t Reagan the one who removed solar panels from the White House that had been placed by another president to promote green energy back in the 70s? Or was that another idiot? I just remember hearing about it awhile ago and going “holy shit, in another timeline, the shift to green energy could have happened decades ago if Americans had bothered to elect leaders who had their best interests at heart”

And since America was the trend setter of the world, the shift to green energy would have spread earlier and maybe, we would have been in such a different place than we are right now.

At least, that part is being handled now by the rest of the world while America insists on falling behind.
