The scale will probably be a lot smaller. Israel is such a thoroughly militarized society that you really can’t escape if you are anchored in that society. The US is a lot more individualistic. Of course, people which experience shit pushed on them by the military in the US will be traumatized and will either get therapy (unlikely because expensive) or abuse hard drugs, which will increase the average numbers.
