Accessibily mapping is something that OSM does really well, and which is lacking in other map services. This is a really good introduction to (wheelchair) accessibility mapping.

If mapping my area in streetcomplete ever taught me anything, then it is how absolutely fucked you are if you’re bound to a wheelchair.
I guess there should be great value in getting people that use wheelchairs into mapping. I try my best, but it is limiting how well I can map without experience with a wheelchair.
We have gotten a local group together in the last months with small lectures and mapped ng with StreetComplete. Getting some of the local disability organisations on board would be great in the future.
