Have to admit, I’ve completely forgotten about Pear Harbor.
It was a competitor for Apple but got bought and dismantled.
It was when the USA surrendered to dis pear.
Shoutout to da pear

That’s when the Japanese sank nearly all of the US’s pears.
Ah, that’s why pear-based weaponry played such a small role in World War II?
Pears of what?
Pears of genes off coarse.
Levi genes?
It was the Boston Tea Party’s lesser, ill-conceived cousin.
I mean yeah, I agree. Remembering the past is important, but only in so far as it affects the currently and future living people.
So let’s talk about how institutionalised racism and power structures that started from slavery are still negatively affecting a lot of people while favouring some others.

“not like that”
Maybe banning slavery would be a good first step…
But then the heroes at the Alamo died in vain!!1 (That’s what Texan independence truly was all about, right?)
Pear Harbor
Never forgor

Six Flags Over Slavery just moved it into the prisons and offshore. Slavery is most certainly not over.
Kinda like asking when someone is going to stop focusing on the bone sticking out of thier leg and start focusing on walking.
If you don’t set the bone, it can’t heal. It’s actually pretty important. It certainly is a counter-example to the idea that “time heals all wounds”.
As soon as we fix all the problems that stem from it, we can shut up about it. Until then… 🤷
I feel like they also forget all the other stuff too when it’s convenient for them
