    For me, it depends. At my job, unless it’s a fire, there’s no surprise meetings. So we often see meetings 2-3 days in advance. And if it includes some big wigs, it’s pretty intense.

    So the day prior, I’m usually preparing mentally, thinking of corpo shit so when the CFO calls on me, I’m not speaking out dumb shit. This is normal introvert stuff btw.

    So if a meeting gets cancelled a few hours before show time, it’s even more stressful. Because I just spent a couple of hours preparing my little circus dance and now I can’t do it? I already committed.
