      Yeah, first of all, this wasn’t what the average person wore. This was something that a rich person wore to show off their wealth. Second of all, it was probably not their “everyday wear”, but something they wore for a special occasion like “Fashion Week”.

    This might well be from Reval, a Hansa city that traded primarily in furs and timber. Seems like the kind of outfit you’d come up with if your was to show off how much fur you had access to.

      Reval is Tallinn (in Estonia), so perhaps the thick fur enclosure is hot enough to work as a sort of “personal travel sauna”?
