Gulfstream has smashed Bombardier's Los Angeles Airport to Farnborough Airport speed record by 19 minutes, just days after the Global 8000 took the title.

The Canadian company said at the time this was 2.2% faster than a previous record. Gulfstream now claims its flight was 3.6% faster than Bombardier’s trip.
